Green Book History

Green Book History

The idea of gathering information about slopes on Greens is far from new. The best caddies, coaches and players have for decades been making and keeping notes and drawings about slope and break on greens.

What the Green Book does is to make the provision of this information available in a consistent and more accurate fashion. It saves hours of work for those who were already preparing their own drawings and makes the information available for all golfers.

We prepared our first Green Book for the Scottish Open in 2015 after months of research and testing. The books were in their initial stage of development but were still well received by players at the event.

The 2015 Scottish Open Winner Rickie Fowler used our book at our first ever event.
